Waddy, I was just thinking....start playing Jerry Reed style and you won't need your index finger (Jerry always tucked his index finger in). Claw style fingerstyle is very cool....forget the ensemble stuff :D Get that guitar done!

Right, Anthony! I feel like the claw. I was practicing tonight, and it doesn't seem to bother me as much as I thought it would. I guess I keep my hand cupped higher than I thought I did. It still looks real fat and swollen. Almost like I ate something that I was allergic to, except only the one finger was allergic. Is that possible? [headinwall] idunno

It looks great now Waddy [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:]

Do you think all the FP effort was worth it? I'm leaning towards doing water-based Euduro sprayed on with my HVLP system.....

I have a few weeks to brush up on some tunes before my first is going to be strung up yet.....can't wait to hear what yours sounds like!

Cheers,
Dave F.

Thanks, guys.

Dave, I think the FP was worth it. I probably should have practiced more, but who knows. I wish I had known to start light and build color. I won't make that mistake again. I'd say it is well worth it. I was surprised at what can be done in a few days. I'll be doing it on more guitars. I might also try the Tru-Oil finish as well. That interests me too.
