Please forgive me if this is posted under the wrong section (still learning how to work the new site past the "view active topics" page).

I just wanted to post a public thank you to all the members of the OLF who were at the Newport show this weekend in Miami, especially to Lance and Brock. I had a great time getting to meet lots of new friends and getting to play some absolutely *STUNNING* instruments.

For everyone who couldn't be there, I wish you could have. What amazed me most was the spirit of camaraderie amongst the luthiers there-- nothing appeared to be a "trade secret," as information was freely exchanged as tools to develop an individual's own unique craft. I look forward to the next show and hope to meet even more members in Montreal.

So, thank you!!!

As far as I know Lance is the man with the photos.... and what did he do after the Newport/Miami show? He went to Disney World.

(So it will be a few days).

But I have got to say.... I have seen John play guitar before on YouTube but I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when I saw him doing it live 2 feet away. I was totally in awe.

We have some video clips too, but again... Lance has got them.
