It is hard to tear apart a completed nice instrument. The reality of the situation was that even though it was nice, it was NEVER used since I didn't like the tone of it. So either it sat in a case and never saw daylight or it was given a chance to be used again. I felt it was well worth the chance to resurrect it. I WANTED this guitar to be my travel guitar since it fits in a regular knapsack when I take the neck off. I don't even remove the strings completely. I loosen them up, put 2 capos on to keep them in position, remove the bridge pins and the neck.
Very simple
