A couple weeks ago I hurt my back somehow, and after trying to just deal with it, finally came to the conclusion that I should just sit down for more than just a few minutes at a time and relax awhile (as in a few days, that is). Most of that time is right here on the forum, as there is nothing but drivel on TV anyway.
Any how, with this stimulus check sitting in the bank, I thought that I should take the leap and purchase a heating blanket because if I didn`t do it now, I probably never would. I went to Blues Creek`s website and bought the blanket/temp control combo. It was almost too easy. No mechanical voice directing me to hear a duck quack by dialing 6 on my phone pad, no broken English questions that can`t be answered because you have no idea what they`re talking about. Nice and simple navigation around the site and transaction done right from the (somewhat painful) comfort of a nice soft armchair.
The package showed up with the mail this morning and I was pleasantly surprised with it. Gee, John, no steel slats with this baby? Just kidding, as I already have some.
I have been doing my bending on an iron and a Fox-style bender with bulbs for heat, but I really wanted to take some of the risk and guesswork out of bending sides. This oughta do it. I haven`t been able to try it out just yet, but am itching to do so.
Thanks alot, John and Blues Creek Guitars
Coe Franklin

John always is first class. Keep the bulb thing going with the blanket. I used double that setup for a long time and worked really well.

John's products have always been first class and I have many of them in my shop. I was also shocked to actually get John on the phone when I called one night. I thought I would just leave a message ont he phone and hoped he would get it the next day, but lo and behold he actually answered the phone and we had a good long chat. I would reccommend his goodies to anyone looking for first class tools and jigs. [:Y:]
