Will this tend to be all acoustic guitars...or will some electrics show up as well?

The majority of attendees' focus is usually on acoustic guitars, but there will certainly be a share of electrics there as well. Some of the people I plan on inviting to the meeting are Wade of Motor City Pickups, Jim Young of Fentzlyne Guitars, Ron Luczak, Mike Kessenich of Etavonni Instruments, Dave Budzinski, and people like Tom Pellerito, Biff Spencer (an incredible vintage Fender and Gibson finish expert), and many others. Not sure how many of these new non-members will show up, but even if few do there are still plenty of members who do a good deal of electric work.

All styles are welcome. Do you want me to count you in as a Yes or Maybe?

Count me as a maybe for two. If I'm coming, one of my friends will undoubtedly come too.

Hi Lars,

Yes I got it. I've just been rather busy organizing things and am planning on announcing details and a more formal invite in a week or so. I'll definitely make sure you're on the list!

I think what would be fun is for everyone to wear bags over their heads with eye holes.,and run around trying to guess who`s who by looking at their guitars. We could then have a best sounding and best playable contest, while still head bagged. The winners could receive a grand prize of going over to Hesh`s house and helping to build his new shop, and pick up cat turds.Maybe not too many trips to the bar for me.I`m still gonna try and make it if business stays good. The sky Is Falling,The Sky Is Falling.Just mimicking the evening news.

[clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] Very cool Uncle Bob!!!! I can't wait to see you my friend!!!!

Be careful with Bob Connor in the car - he is every bit EMF material..... :D Bob Connor (since you are both Bob C's) Uncle Bob has a habit of falling asleep in the car - so be sure to bring a BRW bridge blank and use it like smelling salts and he wakes right up..... :D

Also you will be passing he Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Clevageland otherwise known as the mistake on the lake. It's a very cool place to visit if you have time. Be sure to see Michael Jackson's outfit that he wore while filming Thriller........ (looking for a puking emoticon). But they do have the pauls that Duane and Dicky Betts used while recording Stormy Monday at the Filmore.

Would I be welcome at such a gathering? I know I don't build personally, but I do my own setup work... does that count? :-)
