Hi everyone. I wanted to post a public apology to Lance, Brock, and Ken.

I was scheduled to depart RDU last night at 1925 and make a connecting flight to Montreal from Washington at 2140. The flight leaving RDU was delayed by nearly three hours. This meant that there was no way I was getting on the last flight from Washington to Montreal at 2140. United offered to put me up in a hotel in Washington for the night but were unable to say what flight I would be booked on to Montreal. This left me in a dillema-- do I get on a plane to Washington knowing that I will miss a connecting flight and knowing that the airline cannot tell me how I am to get to Montreal and back or do I call off the trip. I did not feel good with the prospect of spending the night in a strange city not knowing when I would get to my final destination. In light of that, I called the trip off. I called Lance and told him everything so I'm sure Brock and Ken know about it too.

That said, I still want to post a public apology for not making the Montreal show. I will do whatever I can to make this right for all three of you. There were many issues ranging from the flight crew taking an extended lunch between the flights, one of them relishing in bringing her doggie boxed slice of pizza wafting in front of one hundred tired, hungry, and thirsty passengers to the manner in which the representative from United adressed me, personally, at the counter. I won't go into all that now, however, please know that I did my dead-level best to be there and simply could not get there.

I wish everyone the best for the show and I am truly sad and sorry I can't be there.

Dude... Please.. You were doing us such a huge favor by coming up to the show... there is absolutely no need to apologize. It is always great to see you, but we definitely understand that sometimes the stars align against you.

:-)
