Hi everybody, I'm looking for a place to buy sandpaper disks in 800, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit. Has anybody seen a place that sells disks (preferably hook and loop) at anything higher than 220 grit? I know I can get micro-mesh but am wondering if there is a place to get regular sanding disks? Also, does micro-mesh and regular wet/dry paper match grit for grit (i.e. 2000 grit micromesh = 2000 grit wet/dry)?

Thanks!

John

Try Supergrit.com - I've gotten Abralon materials from them before. Otherwise hit up an automotive supply places for abrasives, as they'll have the finer grit stuff. Personally, I'm using 3M sheets for hand/block sanding and Festool and Abralon papers/disks for powered finish sanding.
