This is an all Koa Double Top I had Joe White do for me. He was very kind in providing progress pictures of the finished progress and I gotta tell ya I'm extremely happy by the look of the pictures!! bliss

This guitar will be here tomorrow, can't wait to see it in person!

Anyone in need of a professional finish be sure to check out Joe's top notch work! [:Y:]

And the craftsmanship looks top-notch as usual, Peter.

Stunning! That is one great looking guitar.

Peter, can you share if you did anything different with the Koa top than you would normally do with a spruce top? (bracing, thickness, etc). Have you ever used a Koa top with a different species for the back and sides?

I just recently saw Joe's finish for the first time. As good as the photo is, it is even better in person!! He does an outstanding job

Well, its a double top so I can't really comment on how to use it as a single top. I do tell you this, when bending the high curl stuff, be sure to go very slow!

Thanks for looking!

Peter...I saw your masterpiece in Joe's shop last week. I was startled at how beautiful this guitar looks...and it's not just because Joe laid on his magic finish. (Barry, it's Poly). He had a remarkable piece of guitar to work with. Peter...you're going to have one happy customer!

On the day I was there, Joe took a well deserved day off from finishing. He had to...he needed to fabricate more guitar and neck holders and double his rack size! laughing6-hehe

So on our way to lunch we stopped at the post office and picked up another 2 guitars! I am so happy for our good OLF friend...he built it, and now they are coming.

Wow... Peter, that is an incredibly beautiful guitar. It's always nice to see pics of your work... Inspiring!

It's been interesting watching (on the forum) Joe establish himself and acquire the chops to do such a flawless finish, and do it in such a short time... Also very inspiring!

Peter,

Looks phenomenal! A true anointing. I saw a black topped guitar, does that belong to the ziricote back? Can you send or post some pix?

Thanks for keeping the standard high and consistently raising the bar. You're a blessing! [clap]
