Thanks but I prefer the Doolin system. I like the fact that there are less parts and the bolt isn't noticeable. And as far as I'm concerned it is a proven system. Sorry but there's just something I don't care for seeing a socket head bolt in a heel of an acoustic. Maybe if it was built into a strap button. Don't get me wrong, you did a nice job with it. It's just a personal thing. And with the template it should be no problem alining the hole. After all that's the point to the template. I'm also wondering if the back of the neck block just can't be screwed on instead of glued on for future changes. But then again what's the real chance of that barrel nut and bolt needing replacement? People buying a hand built aren't going to be turning that bolt that much. One full revolution is .050" of adjustment.
