Does anyone know where to get the Lawrence/McFadden UV poly in Canada?
Thanks...

Sure .. you order it from them in the US and get it shipped ground (and deal with the hassles). There are no Cdn distributors that I know of.

Why not call Mario Proulx or Michael Collins (up in Keswick Ont) - they are using the Chemcraft version, I just dont know the product code. There are plenty of places have that in Canada.

Find a Chemcraft distributor here: http://www.chemcraft.com/distributors.php

Its an easy website to navigate. I'd love to know which of their products is applicable for lutherie.

product 355-390 is a great pre-cat lacquer. I know that Marc Beneteau is using a two part cat lac from them as well.

I am using the opticure UV cure polyester from Chemcraft. Along with the isolante for sealing oily woods. I pick it up at a distributor North of Toronto.
I got my handheld UV light from UVIII in Massachusetts. None of the products are inexpensive, but they work very nicely together.
There is a learning curve, as it does not act like lacquer, but the time savings is well worth it to me.

Also, their pre-cat lacquer is the best NC I have ever worked with.
