Any recommendations for small, light, not too expensive tuners for a batch of travel guitars?

How much are Schaller M6 minis over there? I bought two sets for my current build 12 string. Stewmac have chrome sets for just over $50US. I love them.

Grover Sta-Tite open back tuners.

EDIT: Woops! I just noticed the "mini" requirement...never mind!

The Gotoh open-gear Sta-Tite like are great, as well as the mini Gotoh, you can them from AllParts.

I like the Gotoh minis as well. Open backs might be lighter, but they have a much larger footprint as well, so, if you want to cram them close together, I think the minis are it.

I do like the schallers but those things are heavy! 203g. The Gotoh minis with the plastic knobs are lighter at 173g.

Glad to hear good reports on the grover and gotoh open backs. I've only used waverlys for open back. They will likely be small enough and the price is nice.

Thanks all.

I have 6 sets of gold Schaller minis that I would like to get rid of.
I have ebony knobs for them too. The wood knobs really help get the weight off !

Contact me directly if you are interested.

Mark
