Does anyone have a source for pieces to cut African Blackwood binding from. One board
or several smaller boards will work.

Thanks in advance for any leads.

All the best,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

Try Gilmer...they usually have some small supply of AB.

I don't know what you're looking for Kevin but you might try "at the source" with these people http://www.prosono.co.za/en/african_blackwood.shtml

They came up with a search for bag pipe wood suppliers. High end bag pipes are made from African Blackwood.

Might want to try http://www.gibsonpipes.com/ as a local maker, they may have some material they mights sell. Nice name hey? :D

I had some but I gave it to Mich Matsushida. I'll look again..I may still have some offcuts....I doubt it though.
