Does anyone have a set of plans for a radius dish sander.? I have a new leeson 1/2 hp farm duty motor, and odd bits of parts that I would like to use to make a sanding machine. Tired of rotating that dish by hand . Thank you very much!

Also consider potter's wheels.

and if you want full plans, http://www.dunwellguitar.com/HollowFormSander/HFS-Sander.htm

Google search "motorized sanding dish" and the above are at the top of the results.

The manual alternative to spinning - clamp the dish down, put clamps on both tail block and end block. Hold the clamps and push back and forth, long-ways on the body. Good aerobic workout, though I'm sure all of us are in perfect Adonis stature and don't need to trouble ourselves with the workout.
