When y’all are carving a saddles... what do you use to tube with? In other words after you tube the instrument open and fret it at 12, what do you use to make adjustments? Maybe my tuner stinks but it isn’t accurate like that

I used to tube with a truck tire tube, but I haven't been in the river for years....... laughing6-hehe

Are you asking what kind of tuner people use, or how people make adjustments to the saddle to compensate?

No matter what you use check the intonation in the playing position not lying on your bench with the neck supported.

Surprisingly a Snark on the headstock seems pretty darn good when compared with the Peterson app on my phone.
