Yup, someone gave me some Brazilian rosewood and some ebony and some other undetermined pieces of wood. I'm thinking I can get a 3 pieceback out of this stuff and some fretboards, bridges and peghead overlays. This stuff was given to my friend 8 years ago and given to that guy and so far nobody has opened the wrap and done anything. Amazing!

That's a nice start to a woodpile. Free makes it even better. I got a few chunks of cherry, maple, sycamore, and one of walnut from the wood they used under the steel deliveries at work, and threw out. I'd check once in a while for flame and color. I use them for violin/viola necks, and ribs.

Never saw any RW or ebony.

Some good looking firewood

I kid I kid. Looks like a few good pieces to squirrel away for 10 years from now.
