Hello, been looking at the choices of nitro we have here in the uk and would be interested to hear from anyone that uses it.We seem to have quite a limited choice, the ones i've been looking at are, Morrells 250 precat, Dartfords, sold by rothco and frost, doesn't say if it's precat or straight nitro , tonetech sells both precat and straight and manchester guitartech rattle can.I've tried the rattle can on one guitar with pretty good results but i've now got a spray setup so would be gratefull to hear from anyone who has used any of the mentioned lacquers. All the best Rob.

Hi there...

I've used Dartfords many times.. its good lacquer... not pre-cat.

I've recently switched to Nitorlack who specialise in nitro for instruments... and i switched not for any reason other than to try it and because Maderas Barber, where i order wood from, stocks it, so it saved on multiple orders... i like this too, may be better than Dartfords though i cant really say why exactly...

https://nitorlack.com/en/barniz/topcoat ... r-gloss-2/

Anyway, just to say, there is another UK/Euro option for you...

G.

I've been happy with Dartfords. Rothko & Frost are very good to deal with. They replaced an order that got lost without quibble.
