Hi folks
It's been a while since I have had to ask this of our community.
We have had a number of sponsors leave over the last year or so and the cost to run the forum has only gone up.
By looking at our sponsor links it would appear we have a lot of support, truth is I have not taken anyone down
even though they have stopped advertising. I will in the near future as I need to do some house keeping.

That being said, I come to you asking for help. If you are able to donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated.
A single donation or a recurring monthly donation would be a massive help and would go a long way in stabling
the OLF.

I hate to ask for finical help, I have largely stayed away from doing it, but it appears the time has come for me to
swallow my pride and reach out to our community and ask for help.

Please consider anything you can as it will all help.

Thanks for the OLF and I am happy to help. Next year will be 20 years here for me, wow.

Glad to help support my favorite fun website. I probably gain more of value here than elsewhere on the web.

Maybe an annual contributing membership that would include access to classifieds and possibly a badge next to username in recognition would solve the site cost issues long term.

Don't want to add work for Lance but once it's set up maybe it could run on it's own.

What about Patreon? Lance, you already have an account that I see in my account. So, I think I must have sent money to you via Patreon at some point. You could put the word out on the OLF that you want folks to set up a monthly donation via Patreon. Personally, I would be glad to give to the OLF in that way. I gave a lump sum this time via PayPal, because that's what you asked for, but for ongoing trickles of income, I think Patreon would probably work better. Just my opinion.

I've been a $5 monthly Patreon member since 8/2018. If Patreon is not the preferred way let me know, I can switch to something else. If the OLF had a $5 monthly membership advertised, what is the number of subscribers needed?

Lance, sorry just one more thing - I was made aware of this thread only because someone texted me about it. Depending on how users of Tapatalk use the app, they might not see these sticky threads at the top. Maybe posting in the main forum will increase the traction.
