I've been wanting to start this topic since the New OLF was launched... I just got some new photos today so I thought this was as good a time as any!

Brochure covers, magazine ads, pics from your website, photos of famous players with your instruments, cute offspring helping you in the shop... Show off a little.....Show Us Your Best Photos!

I'll start with these... (I may post more...) The figured Walnut came from a highway right-of-way clear cut in Minnesota. The Port Orford Cedar came from Bob C.

Click on the photos to enlarge.

I've always liked this one.
It's Chuck, the Duke of Pearl, oggling that Ambrosia maple from BobC.
(It's the thought that here's the master of nacreous bling stopped by some display in wood.)

Here is one of my most recent guitars that shows off the world class finishes that our own Joe White can do.

Good timing on this one as I was taking photos of my latest just today...

Features a satin finish which we don't see too much of around here.

Couple shots .... the first I only just realized that the soundport is a mirror image of the ribrest. My photographer always complains that the guitars are "too shiny" for pix.. there are so many curves going on here that the reflections couldnt be eliminated.

On the second, well the smile says it all ......

oops .. pix are changed around ....

Excellent!! Lots of great photos already... Here is a favorite of mine...
3 of my guitars and 3 different owners were all playing an outdoor show last summer. The guy that owns the SJ with the pheasant on the HS brought the guitars and a photographer together to get this shot... It's probably the best promotional photo I have... and I didn't have anything to do with having it made.

Well, in that case no man ever steps in the same river once!

James... that's good old Black Walnut, It was salvaged from an area that was being clear-cut for a highway right-of-way.

I hope some of you guys are checking back from time to time.
Cuz:
JohnH--really pretty 42. Nice work as usual.
Richard--love that satin finish. Somehow it looks perfect on that wood. Makes me want to do one like that!
Brock--love that logo. My clumsy fingers would break that pearl for sure.

Keep it up, guys!

Steve
