Mike...
I have no name for this design..it was free built and sprang from the desire to play root bass notes with rhythm chords...I have been referring to her as "lumpy" because of some of my side bending problems . laughing6-hehe .
Feel fee to call it something if you wish [:Y:]

Well, how did you calculate the fret spacing and angles? And the bridge orientation?

Mike,
What I did was take to scales(got them from a scale generating program)....the long scale is 30 inch...the short 25.5....draw or tape the bass scale on the bass side of the fret board...do the same for the treble....connect the sides.I then made a jig out of two pieces of aluminum to guide my saw.Here is a link that helped me ...

it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be....but like making a regular fret board...your result will be as precise as your measurements and cutting accuracy.
