No, I'm not posting for reasons you may think...just to say that I have the same exact setup Mike, and you'll love it! Folks made fun of my all-Grizzly shop back in the furniture building days...but I ran the bejesus out of them and they never broke on me...all the while my peers were always fixing their Delta stuff...when I downsized to fit into my new attic shop the big 'ol Grizz's had to go, but I kept the bandsaw (but getting up the stairs bought my chiropractor new patio chairs!!). Enjoy, and keep that friend forever!

I hope you don't plan to use your new band saw for fret slotting. I don't know anyone who does that, although it could be done. Most use this on a table saw with a sled.

I just did some re sawing for the first time and used a 1/2" Woodslicer blade and I was very pleased. Pretty smooth cut results. Here's a link to a discussion on it that might help if you haven't done any re sawing before.
