I used my new luthier tool jig for the slots. For the ramp I just used my dragon rasps... at the VERY end I used a dowel w sandpaper

I start the ramp with a gouge, get the slot 95% to the right shape with this small carving file https://www.highlandwoodworking.com/iwa ... andle.aspx and clean up with a dowel with progressively higher grits of sand paper. Takes 20 minutes if I'm working slowly.
