Here's another vote for Crossrock! It just arrived and I'm really happy with it.
During my 20+ years as a hobby builder, the case options have been a moving target. Every time I think I've found the right solution for my guitars, the supplier closes up shop, or stops making OM size, or stops supplying to Canada. This time around I was looking for an OM case and made three purchases online, all of which got cancelled by the sellers because they didn't actually have stock. Then I bought a Gator through Amazon, but the case wasn't nearly as deep as advertised, so that got sent back. Finally, it was the customer service rep from Crossrock in California that made a special arrangement so I didn't have to wait three months for the Canadian suppliers to get more stock.
It's a tweed look with brown banding around the rim and 4 latches. It's under $200. I think it helps to present the guitar as something special. Based on this purchase I know I'll go back to them . . . if they stick around:).

One more tidbit on cases.

Last time I bought several Hiscox Artists Large Classical cases, they were about $530 from Guitar center.

I checked the Hiscox web site and they mentioned getting around to shipping to USA.

I threw one in a cart to see what happened and it seemed to convert to USD at about $350 and the shipping price populated to $110 to my Michigan address. Total was considerably less than my prior purchases from US based suppliers.

I emailed them to confirm but have not gotten a reply (been a few days now). I've not had email responses from them before too.

Might have to call them.

Just ordered a Hiscox Pro 000/OM for $309 USD ($198 + $111 shipping).

Having ordered one earlier this year, I am +1 for Hiscox cases. If you consider the $100+ shipping cost as part of the price, it's around $300+, still a decent deal for a very strong case that's fairly light in weight. I too paid a lot more than $300 for one I bought from an Amazon seller a few years ago.

Hiscox are great cases, as I've said, I use them.

I had the lining come loose around the rim of one case w/in a year of sale. I fixed it for the customer and sent a message to Hiscox. Never heard back.

When I recently realized you could order from USA, I emailed again for details a week ago and still no response.

So pretty darn good cases, but for me at least, lousy communications and follow up.

Just a point that needs to be out there.

Update, I did get a return email from Hiscox today, took about a week this time but got one answering one of my questions.

Asked If you could order direct from US - still no answer on that but other posters here are saying they have recently.

Asked about availability in US also and they answered with this - "Thank you for your email. Calton Cases are going to be our new distributor in the USA"

Update #2 - I asked again about direct ordering from US and they answered with - "You can order direct., The lead time on the Artist dreadnought case is currently 5 weeks. You can order direct via our website." I imaging the D case may be their most popular but not what I was interested in.

No info on Calton web site yet.
