If any of you have never build with some of Zootman's Curly Narra you are really missing a treat. Taps a bit brighter than koa works much like mahogany. Finishes to a very iridescent shimmer. The visual effect is almost like flashing neon lights. While working it you will think this is nice but nothing spectacular. But once the finish goes on have your sunglasses ready ;) Get wile is available

Wow I was going to add a photo but is appears the "board attachment quota has been reached" I guess this means we are limited to the # of photos in a topic [headinwall]

Not the topic, the board. Lance says there must be a switch they don't know about yet, with some arbitrary limit set on it. He's looking into it.

Michael...your set had neon jumping off the surface as it was coming right off the saw. I can only imagine what the finish will do to its appearance!

This narra sounds lovely. If Bob has some available, I might be interested in some more WAS indulgence at the end of the UK tax year....

Michael, I don't know if you are aware of photohosting sites, but I have been using Photobucket for a number of years now- just register, upload your pics from the PC and cut & paste the HTML tags into your post.

This way, you are not using bandwidth (or whatever it's called on the OLF).

As stated Bob will soon have it available on his site. You really should try it at least one. Goes great with Carp (euro) Spruce

Sam,

The Narra billet we saw and watched Bob resaw for Michael was absolutely gorgeous (hurts like a bugger if you drop it on your foot though). I took a few pictures of it from a number of angles and each showed a different chatoyance.

Beauty is not only visual, it is relatively inexpensive as well. (Get some quick before Michael snaps it all up).

I don't quite remember Anthony's chatoyance but I do remember that he screamed like a little pig.
