Wow JJ, I've been away for a little bit and just got back today, and dang, that is one nice guitar! I just bought an R7 last week and gotta say, you built the best electric of all time! I bet that thing sings.

On a different note, I like your explanation of how you carved the top. I'm going to use that same technique to build a mold for laminating the back of a classical guitar. I want the back to be shaped similar to a cello. I plan on using thin laminates in the mold and then glued up in a vacuum jig. If I could carve as good as you I'd try it by hand.
