Hey guys, a quick question. This is not my area of expertise, but I have customer I just built a auditorium size guitar for, and he needs a pickup. He doesn't want a stand mic. We don't want to cut into the body, and he's not crazy about the fishman soundhole pickup sys. What would you guys recommend here. Thanks in advance. |

K&K. Other than the input jack, there is no undoable changes to the guitar. |

I like the K&K as well but another very good option is LR Baggs M1a easy set-up and removal if later the client should decide to remove it. |

Oh, there is a new K and K offered jack, that requires no mod to a Martin style endpin hole, it's tapered and 1/8th inch female, so it requires a special cord, that's all. Pretty cool, close to $100 for the special jack tapered Pin. |

There is the LR Baggs I-beam pickups too. It has a control set that discreetly fits in the sound hole, so it cant be seen when installed. The K&K pickups have something similar as far as the soundhole adjustable controls. Neither pickup brands need any hole cutting. |

As a biased pickup company co-owner, I say check out our D-TAR stuff. www.d-tar.com |
