Where can a budding Luthier like myself buy Behlen's Rockhard Varnish in Canada - specifically the Toronto area. Due to the issues with hazardous materials shipping I can't get this sent up from normal mail order sources. |

David, Behlens is the very same product as Mohawk's as they are different branches of the same parent company who's name escapes me at the moment. I don't know if they have an exact equivalent to the Rockhard, but I know many members here use the 'Classical Instrument Lacquer' and love the stuff... Hope this helps. |

I read on the Canadian Woodworking Forum site that Goudey's in Toronto may carry some of the Behlen line. May be worth a call. Ray |
