I'm planning on building a size 0 with an easily removable neck for a travel guitar. I'm using ribbon-stripe Sapele B&S, and Spruce or Red Cedar for the soundboard. I'm noodling some attachment designs that won't require me to use a wrench inside the soundhole, and I'm thinking that having a cutaway might help with the attachment. Is there any downside to a cutaway in this size? I can see that the bend would be very tight for a Venetian style cutaway, but a Florentine should be OK :?: I may even give a shot at bending a Venetian, since I like the looks of that design better, and I believe the Sapele will bend pretty well...

YES!

Realizing that you still can't play a lick past the 12th fret..... At least that would be the case for me.
