I'm still working on the guitars for the Miami guitar show. I'll let you have a couple of sneak peeks at my "hybrid" performance guitar, which is box elder back and sides, bloodwood fingerboard, headplate, bridge and bindings and a curly maple neck. It has an englemann spruce top.

Beneath this guitar and also in the picture is a Pao Ferro dreadnaught cutaway that will also go to the Miami show. This one has a Lutz spruce top that was supplied by Mario Dacosta. I'll post more pictures of all of the guitars with the Lutz spruce later on along with an explanation on how I got them. All I am going to say right now is that Mario's heart is big and generous!

Well....Hesh's shop is akin to a doctor's office & your's Frank, could double for a commercial kitchen! Very nice... Looks like you're all set. I wish I had that kind of space .

Amazing workspaces there. Only wish I had the time/money to do a shop... working 6 days a week (might as well be 7 since I teach on Sundays, but I don't think of that as work) with a baby due next month leaves me with neither. Maybe one of these days I can get set up and start building.

Fillipo.....droooooooool! (there's no drooling emoticon) Great shop there my friend. I love your set up. Couple of questions for you if you don't mind. I assume you do most if not all of your cutting on your bandsaw. Do you make your own jigs like molds bending forms etc? Also, I don't see a bender or go bar, what do you do for those items. I can see that you could add a drop ceiling of sorts over top of your main bench as the top side of the go-bar deck and you'd get some more storage space. Make is so it hangs down from the ceiling and you'll have three side accessibility sort of like this Attachment: fillipo.jpg Anyway, that's a great shop. Frank my friend you really did an outstanding job of designing and implementing your shop vision - superb!!! I also like the way that your main bench divides the room - this will be safer for you and your family I think in that it will be more difficult for someone to enter and surprise you when you are using the power tools. The drop down extension cord over the main bench is also a great idea that I may borrow from you. So now that you have a world-class shop when does the guitar building begin?

37 and a half sets of Claro Walnut. JP and I spent a couple hours resawing on Friday. Kind of makes me sad to rip up Claro for stickers but it's all I had to finish out the job, that and some 25 year old sitka door panels. Here is a couple pics of the drying wood.

you guys I will never be able to show a photo of my shop again Man you can eat off your floors. I surrender my shop did not look that clean the day I opened the door for the first time

Maybe the old adage "A clean desk is a sign of a sick mind" could be morphed to apply to shops.
