I have french polished my latest guitar and am ready to put the bridge on using a vacuum clamp. How long should I let the shellac cure before clamping so as not to worry about the clamp leaving an imprint in the newly laid shellac? |

I have done it in as little as three days but closer to a week or possibly longer may be needed depending on how thick the polish is. |
