Folks David Collins and I have collaborated to put together an Ann Arbor OLF gathering that is scheduled for March 8th, Saturday, at 12:00 noon at David's shop first and then my place later that afternoon. Everyone is invited and it should be a very informative and fun time. David's shop is always very fascinating to me and as many of you know David is a very innovative guy who makes many of his own tools. This will be a very informal gathering to keep it simple for all and we plan on spending a couple of hours at David's shop and then convoy over to my place which is about 4 miles away from David's. At my place conversation, guitar playing, a Heshtone shop tour (lasting 11 seconds ) and pizza and beer will be served. You are encouraged to bring a guitar and or any thing that you wish to discuss and show to the group. Please RSVP in this thread and to me here via PM if you plan to attend and include your email addy (in the PM) and I will promptly send you directions to David's shop and my place. We are trying to get a head count and your RSVP will be very helpful. Many thanks!

I'm planning on being there, too! So if anyone from the west side of Michigan wants to car pool (in my case, it's van pool) drop me a note and we'll put that together. It'll be a great time, thanks Hesh and David.

Bummer! I'm leaving for Minnesota on March 5th for a dual purpose road trip. I have a continuing education class in Minneapolis, and I will also be driving up to Grant Goltz's place to get a piece of BRW cut into sets. I would have been there in a heart beat. Great!!! We are going to have a great turn out with many confirmed participants already and I am sure more will be added too. Everyone expect an email from me next week with directions and specifics. Again it's very informal and everyone is invited. Todd I know you went to school in A2 so you need to come back one of these days and check the place out. Hi Folks. The Ann Arbor OLF gathering will begin at 12:00 noon Saturday March 8th at David Collin's shop. After a couple hours there we will convoy to my place to continue with guitar playing, Heshtone shop tour, beer and . Everyone who has indicated interest in this thread so far will be getting a PM from me with the addresses and a contact phone number. UPDATE: Here is who we have coming so far: Clinton Brad Max Jim Mark Lance Brock - possibly and hopefully Stephen Kirt JJ Joe And with David, Jotham, and I that makes 14 possible. This is a pretty good turn out and it should be a great day!!!
