I usually use HHG to glue the neck block to the sides, but on this "cutaway" side I feel that I may not have a perfect purchase. It looks alright, but I thinking using an epoxy ( I have NHP brand from Rockler). I'm thinking that if there is any gap filling to be done it would be better served with the epoxy than HHG. Does anyone else do this? Clinton |

I use epoxy for that, for the reasons you mention. Plus it is end grain. I think epoxy probably works better on end grain that HHG or Titebond. That said, I have used Titebond for that joint many times without any problems. Mark |

What does szing it with HHG accomplish? Does the sizing soften as the hot glue comes in contact? Does help "bridge any discrepancies? Clinton |

I also use epoxy for that area. Let it thicken a little before clamping. |

Thanks. I'll go with the NHP epoxy. Clinton |
