We are so blessed to have him and Tony F around to do our finish work. This is the 1st one I have sent to him and it is spectacular. He colored the neck to match the color of the walnut and it is perfect. Also, he is a great guy and his service was awesome!!!!!! HIGHLY recommended.This guitar is a surprise gift for my nephew. I hope he likes it!!! The bridge is drying so it hasn't been played yet. The picts show strings, but they are under zero tension. Here are the details: 24.9 scale OLF SJ My own Somogyi inspired bracing Backs and Sides - High figure claro walnut from Allied (The picts look golden but it is really the typical brown color of walnut!!!) Lutz top from Shane Gotoh 510 Delta antique bronze tuners Pearl from Andy DePaule Bridge - This is my 1st pinless bridge. There was no way I could make one with my tooling so I sent one of my regular bridges to Bob Garrrish and he CNC'd a pinless version. VERY NICE Walnut rosette. Brown/black/spruce purfling from LMI I hope you like it. Thanks |

Beautiful, Andy. I just happened to see this beauty in person last week when I stopped by to pick up the Shredder. I was astounded at the job he did in matching neck mahogany with body walnut. The Polyester finish IMO is the clearest and least tacky finish I have ever felt on a guitar. The necks are really dry and slick even though glossy. |

That is amazing turn around time on the finishing Andy. One thing amongst many things that you will really like about Joe's finish is the neck is super slick and nicer to play than say a nitro finished guitar. It has the same feel as an oiled neck. Andy -- forgot to mention earlier. The Rosette looks a little different from previous guitars ones posted. I think it is an improvement at least to my eye. I am seeing that the space between the edge of the soundhole to the edge of the ring has been reduced and the ring width appears smaller. |

Great looking guitar Andy. The wood is wonderful of course, but what I really like is that headstock shape and the profile dog with negative space carrying the scene. Excellent. John |
