Hey everyone, I'm new at the forums but I've been reading quite a few of your tips to others and decided to share with you my first project. Its a 5 string, maple neck, cherry body, bois de rose fingerboard. Let me know what you think so far and ill keep this updated. THANKS |

Welcome to OLF, vindennl48. Names are good here. 5 string - ?? The only thing that brings to mind is Keith's open G with no low D. |

It MIGHT be a bass...... Keef plays a 5 string tele with the Stones, so why not OK, OK, its a bass!! lookin' good so far!! |

I like it so far. The cherry body and the bois de rose will be a nice color combination. I would also like to see more of the cnc operation. John |

Sorry about that, its a Bass. I'm in the process of figuring out how to use Rhino for the neck. Ill have more pictures up tonight. Thanks! -Mitch |

Here is the neck with out the headstock in Rhino and MasterCam's cutting path. I precut the headstock on the bandsaw already so there was no need to draw it up. cutting it sometime this week hopefully. |
