Last year during that pet food recall one of my clients (Mark) lost his kitty due to the
melamine poising that was in the food.
Mark wanted to have his cat George remembered by having his likeness inlayed on the guitar that I
am building him. He contacted Paul and what a great job he did! The main idea was to capture
the essence of George. I think Paul hit a home run!

Well, being well-known for being a cat guy, I have to say that's both sad and yet wonderful. I've been wanting to do the same thing, and will probably do so one of these days.

Thanks for sharing that Lance...

What a great tribute Lance. My wife is a cat lover and she was really impressed with the inlay. Then she gave me that look,,,,,,,,,,,,, CRUD! Now I have to build something with a cat on it. gaah

That is good work. I love the use of negative space and the use of color in the pearl to carry part of the image. Just great.

Paul is an artist!!!! [:Y:]
Will you have to drill tuner holes in part of it?

Mike

Hello kitty!
Thats one beautiful animal alright, and a good friend Im sure,,,
how sad that someone (so many actually) lost thier friend(s) due to the negligence of a manufacturer... truly heartbreaking..
I was SO relieved that we hadnt been feeding our animals with the companies that were listed during that recall scare
but I really felt for those that had been at the sme time!
A fitting tribute to a truly magnificent animal..
Cheers
Charlie

Wow, very nice Lance.

Condolences to your client.
