Beautiful Lance as always! I really like the logo inlaid in the butt wedge. |

Post subject: | Wow. |
Somehow the word inlaid and butt wedge take on a whole new meaning when used together.. Thanks for sending over here Lance. I'm sure it will like my place. It's a beauty. Wait until you see the other guitars being sent here as well by some people. This place is going to be inlay headquarters for Miami... I may not have room to walk with the boxes all showing up here! Quote: Yeah well I was careful not to repeat Lance's use of the word flamin......... Before anyone else else asks, as of 10:52 PM Tuesday night the 25th of March there is no more room for receiving any guitars at the Lavin inlay and family residence. While I fully appreciate all the donations so far, I don't need more then the 20 or MORE already coming here . The cat needs to find the litter box and I have a four year old son who may get lost trying to find the potty and keep in mind if I can't reach the refrigerator to get my daily fruit it's gonna get ugly. Henry and the show crew are taking all the precautions possible to make sure everyone's instruments are being treated like gold, and with some of the people that are showing up they may actually BE gold. Or, I can always charge a nominal fee.... CL |

Beautiful Koa guitar, Lance! I like the logo in the tail graft too. How do you think it would look moved up a bit, in case someone wants to install a pickup? |

Hey Craig, when you get this guitar, send it first to me so I can install a proper strap button at the tail wedge for Lance's customer... |

Thanks! Personally, I don't care for the logo there. My standard end graft is a narrow strip of binding. My customer insisted on my logo going there. I wont be doing it again. Just don't care for it. |

It looks kind of sharp there, but I would hate to see it wrecked by an end pin. Yikes! |

I don't know a whole lot about this business.....But, who says the end pin has to be centered in the bottom? Balancing the guitar with a strap can be accomplished different ways. If the buyer wanted a p/up you can install the jack on the lower bout below the wedge. It would need a small reinforcement patch glued on the inside, though. BTW Lance, absolutely gorgeous guitar! Was the customer kind of like the car buyer that didn't want the dealers logo on his new car? This is kinda like gettin a Mercedes and not wanting the peace symbol on the hood. Congrats on a killer instrument! Hope Craig can get it through his shop in time!!! (see above post from CLavin) |

Nice stuff, Lance and amazing flamey koa you got there. Did you do anything special to get it to pop like that or just a standard finish? |

Ah well, guess I will just trust the baggage handlers at Ft. Lauderdale to be careful. John |

That's a beauty Lance. Nice Koa and great workmanship. I wish I could have done the Miami show this year. I'm sure you're all going to have a great time. I'm really hoping to do the show loop in 2009 and to meeting you and a lot of my other favorite builders. Regards, Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars |

That is an exceptionally beautiful axe, Lance. I have heard rumors from those who have played your guitars that they "have it all." Have fun and good luck in Miami. This guitar may not come home with you. Dennis |
