Scroll down at this site to see Dr. Larson's unique guitar: http://www.cbc.ca/quirks/archives/07-08/mar22.html
"Start with chunks of wood salvaged from windfall trees. Add a tiny fish fossil, pieces of stone, shells of turtles and mussels, bits of ivory and ancient cedar — even mink penis bones — and what have you got? It's a made-in-Guelph guitar, one that its maker hopes will play music and tell tales."

Thats awesome!!
I love these quirky guitar models.... just terrific -
I saw another post about this yesterday and got it confused with another story...
I didnt see much discussion about the "Canada Guitar" either - but again another guitar built in Canada from historic, and in one case... quite sacred, materials!

Seems like theres alot of this type of thing happening up here in Canada... that makes me pleased to be part of this great nation!!
Cheers
Charlie
