Works for flamenco. Classical calls for a heavier wood.

I've built one complete OOO from it, including neck, and one Indian Rosewood OM with Cypress top. The cypress (cupressus macrocarpa) came from Victoria, Australia. It makes a beautiful guitar. Very easy to bend and work.

Actually, Jose Romanillos has said that the best classical guitars
he has made were of Cypress ( Euro spruce top).
Joshua French has said it is his favorite back/ side wood, and I
don't think he builds flamencos. Monterey Cypress works much
like Spanish, but doesn't smell quite as wonderful. CW

It's beautiful wood !
Works well for both style of guitars. bliss
I leave the classical back thicker!
.110 or 2.7 mm-you could go thicker and get a cannon of a guitar!

You'll love it's friendly & fragrant personality!

It will impart a lively quick response and tone if worked right.

Make one & fall in love with this wood. [:Y:]
