Alas, I haven't any. I do however covet. They are beautiful instruments.

I built a couple of infill planes a few years back from kits made by Sheppard Tools (now out of business. ) I also bought a bronze smoother kit from James Bay and didn't complete it. Your time would have to be worthless not to just buy a Lie-Neilson. They are just as good as the best infills. I have and use both.
If anyone is interested in doing the work, I'll part with the St. James Bay kit cheap or trade for guitar making stuff or services.

Tony, I have the Instrument Makers Carving Planes:

Also the Bow Maker's Shave.
The soles took truing, but that is fairly standard procedure.
The are beautiful, have nice presence in the hand, and work.
These are brace shaving tools around our shop.
However, no experience w/ the planes.
