Warren doing some Hedges stuff. Sweet.

Warren, last evening I recorded my son on a webcam and computer mic. The video turned out okay. What's your setup for a YouTube video? TIA, Bruce

Just saw this thread... thanks for the post.

Bruce I record videos with the i-Mac built-in camera. I capture the audio through a Zoom H4 direct to the hard drive and process the sound in GarageBand. I reassemble the clip in iMovie HD with titles et.al.

You want to hear something really cool add &fmt=18 to the URL. You get to hear the stereo audio like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQBOMwt0yvI&fmt=18

That was awesome!

I looked up Hedges because I never heard of him! He died in a car crash 10 years ago. Man! what a let down! That's why I never heard of him.

Great job on that song Warren!

Nice work.

A student gave me a Michael Hedges CD many years ago (Before internet). I loved it, but never really learned much about him.

My stepson dragged me to a concert, a year or two later, and the unannounced warm-up act was Hedges. To see him live was amazing. He twisted and spunand amazed us with his playing. I'll never forget it

Thanks. I first encountered the music of Hedges in '88 when I was auditioning new speakers for my sound system. The song was Rickover's Dream, and I can honestly say it changed my life because I started playing guitar again. It took a few years to figure out how Michael played the tune since I'd never seen him live - and the technique was unorthodox, to say the least. Here's my hommage:

Wow Warren you nailed Rickover's Dream! What is the tuning? I ran into Michael at NAMM one time and he gave it to me but my notebook was destroyed by fire before I had a chance to learn it.

Man he was a sweetheart of a guy. Really down to earth.

Yup! My sentiments exactly.

Wonderful playing. I really enjoyed both songs. Thanks.
