Here are some photos of a 5 string I have finished the varnish process this week. After the varnish cures enough I will rub it out and do the set up work and ship it off to it's new owner.

Looking great Barry, I've just started the rubbing out stage for the varnish on mine, in fact I've just cleaned some rottenstone and oil off my hands! Everyone should have a go at a violin.

Barry, it's a very traditional kettle cooked linseed oil and Baltic amber varnish. What are you using?
