I'm sure that I am not the only one who keeps getting questioned about guitars for kids who want to learn to play by people that are on tight budgets and raising kids. I asked a question over on the AGF recently, and one of the guitars that is sold by musicians friend LINK was reccomended as a decnt guitar for a beginner, but possibly needing a good setup before they use it. I know this price is definitely in the range for those on a budget and according to those that responded to my question, these guitars surprisingly sound pretty good for the low price.

Next comes the cases. I got an email from a company called praiseland music and I sent off for the price list and dimensions for their cases. These are very inexpensive cases, but I have no idea about the quality. Anybody here have experience with these cases? I dont think they would be very high quality cases, but for someone buying a beginner's guitar, they may just suit the needs.

any comments on either of these?

You can purchase a very good "Golden Gate" case from Musicians Friend for around $50.
