Good snag, Chris! A friend dropped a Gold top Epiphone les paul off for me to have a look at - it is missing it's headstock in a more serious fashion, but I have the headstock (not the chipped out missing wood parts, though. We could have a Gibson headstock clinic! (I just got through fixing a split neck on an Epi 335 too). |

Cool Chris!! When I saw the thread title I thought it was a rebuttal to abomovation recognition. I love work like this on "junk"! It shows the luthier skill in making a once good guitar all better! Time for another episode of "Guitar Hospital"! |

I can't see the back of the neck, but it looks to me like you could just scarf or graft a peghead on there without removing the fingerboard. Good find, though! |
