Hey guys. I've just acquired a Festool CT33 Dust Extractor. I was wondering where I might be able to find sleeves or adapters to connect the standard 1" x 11.5' hose that comes with it to some of my other tools (namely a Ryobi ROS and a Ridgid 14" Bandsaw)... I'm not exactly sure which parts I would be looking for (or if I would need a new hose altogether)... Anyways, any help and links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys.

Hi Michael

I have the Midi. I'd like to use the 2" hose, but I'm using the 1" that came with it for now. When I bought it, I went over to the hose reducer bins and picked out a few pieces that would step the 4" dust ports on my tools down to 1" for my hose. Look them up on the Rockler, Woodcraft, or other woodworking store sites.

Before investing in adapters get the right hose. I have an optional 2" or slightly less hose, I can't remember the exact diameter and my Internet connection is hacked from a neighbor right now and very intermittent so I am afraid to do much surfing. Get the non-anti-static hose, it's cheaper and the CFM for the CT33 will increase greatly. The one inch hose that comes with is is for ROS and other hand tools. If you want maximum performance for say a band saw or even a thickness sander the thicker hose is far more powerful. Even with the 1" hose I have to turn my Festool vac down to half or it will pick-up the wood........

Congrats in the CT33 - best vac on the market and you will not be sorry.

The CT33 will also accept a standard 2.5" shop vac hose. Enjoy, Morgan
