As I'm getting ready to plot out one of my next projects I've been thinking how useful it would be to either have a web/java based guitar build/planner on the net, or just have it as a program. This program would allow you to see how the different woods, lacquer colors, electronics, etc.. will look for your next build. I know the good old fashioned way is to sketch it on paper, but I think it would be great to be able to see a more detailed color version and also have the ability to mix and match at the click of a mouse. Does such thing exist already? Besides sketching on paper, is anyone here using any other methods?
