Hey guys, as some of you are probably aware, I got my first kit not too long ago. I've since been tooling up like mad and when opportunity knocked on my door, I seized it immediately. What did I get for it? A brand new Rigid 14" bandsaw and Ryobi 10" drill press. Granted, they may not be the best of the best, but I'm sure they'll get the job done and what's more important is that I got them for free. ^^ Financed by my wonderful parents. I was just wondering if you guys could suggest anything else I might want to get for these tools. I know in some cases, fence upgrades and stuff have been suggested for bandsaws... Anyways, thanks for reading and replying. =D |

One thing I bought for the drill press that Im really happy I did was a Wagner Safety Planer. Im a beginner with a hand plane and dont have a thickness sander so this tool really helped me get some tops down to a workable thickness. Robbie Obrien shows how to use this tool in his DVD that I got with my kit fom LMI. Warren |
