I've seen Gibson use some nice tortoise as their side dot markers. For the life of me I can't find a source for any. Does anyone know of one?

If you can find a small hole punch, you can just make then out old picks. I have one the right size but can't remember where I got it (possilby a big box craft store like Michaels or an office supply store). A leather hole punch might also work. My first guitar had guitar pick findgerboard dots as well as side markers.

Harbor Freight sells a set of hole punches real cheap. They are great for veneer, leather, and I guess picks too!
