| Post subject: | American Idol finale slightly on topic |
Did any one see Gram Nash's duo of "Teach Your Children" on the American Idol finale. I tuned in just at the end. Wished I had tuned in earlier. I have performed that song and Judy Blue eyes suite so many time over the years. But the reason I ask to stay on topic is I only got a quick peak at the box he was playing, and not a good peak at that but it apeared to have a Quilted Sapele top. I tried to google images of the performance but came up blank. So if you saw it was I seeing things or what? |

Michael, I saw the performance and it was really good. I noticed the figure on Graham's guitar and it was quilted mahogany. I think Martin did a Graham Nash signature series a few years ago with quilted HM top, back and sides. Stephen |

There's all kinds of way this can go horribly, horribly wrong! But for the love of guitars... I clicked! Graham can still sing pretty darn well, but it's almost impossible to make out the guitar. |

I have not see the utbe clip yet but at the end of the perfornance during his standing ovation bow, he held it up. that was the on glims I saw |

It was a Martin Signature edition, 000-40Q2GN to be precise. Quilted mahogany all around. |
