Only for UK people I'm afraid but BBC I-Player (only 4 days left) has this programme Cierd An Cheoil showing Sam Irwin (ex Lowden) making guitars (plus scenes from his Donegal guitar making course) plus interviews/playing of most of the top trad-Irish guitar players - Steve Cooney, Jim Morray, Ed Boyd, Paul McSherry, Arty McGlynn, The Bothy Band plus many others. Ed Boyd is guitarist with the fabulous group Flook and teaches a week long course every year at Burwell near Cambridge that is my annual chill out holiday. Good stuff.

Thanks for that Dave, when was that on BBC2? How did I miss it or is it only regional. Anyway, that'll be watched tomorrow.

I saw this programme on TG4 last year. Really enjoyed it.

Anyone else may be able to see the programme here...

The question is, is that an Shure SM57 mic that Steve Cooney is sitting in front of?
