Next up for me is this Flamed Mahogany E2. It is for Mark Cashman, he can occasionally be seen logged in here checking up on me wow7-eyes

Last night I glued down the back to the sides and tonight I will be finishing the top bracing. Should have it closed up by Sunday!

Here are a few pics and a video tour :D

Very nice, Lance. Flamed mahogany is quickly becoming one of my favorite woods. I'm finishing two now. What's the top wood?

That's nice clean work! The flamed 'hog should look amazing under a finish!

Cheers,
Chad

Looks great. That flame makes it look like the back is carved, like an archtop guitar.

That's gonna be a pretty guitar. It's nice and clean on the inside, too! Lance, didn't you and me finish a koa guitar at about the same time? Both our batteries died in the camera as I recall. I just finished a flamed sapele....this is getting wierd :shock:

Nice box. What does the carpathian sound like compared to adi?

Lance;
Nice clean work!!!!!!
I love Mahogany!
I've heard more great sounding "hog" guitars than Rosewood ones!!
Plus the curl makes it really hot [:Y:]

Get all the mahogany while ya can-it will be hard to get soon!!!!!

Mike

Welcome, Mark! Coming right along, Lance. I liked the video tour. Good idea.
