Only for UK people I'm afraid but BBC I-Player (only 4 days left) has this programme Cierd An Cheoil showing Sam Irwin (ex Lowden) making guitars (plus scenes from his Donegal guitar making course) plus interviews/playing of most of the top trad-Irish guitar players - Steve Cooney, Jim Morray, Ed Boyd, Paul McSherry, Arty McGlynn, The Bothy Band plus many others. Ed Boyd is guitarist with the fabulous group Flook and teaches a week long course every year at Burwell near Cambridge that is my annual chill out holiday. Good stuff. |

I saw this programme on TG4 last year. Really enjoyed it. Anyone else may be able to see the programme here... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 2845796759 The question is, is that an Shure SM57 mic that Steve Cooney is sitting in front of? |
